High-Risk Pregnancies

A high-risk pregnancy is one in which maternal or fetal conditions require closer medical supervision to reduce the risk of complications. Our unit manages more than 1000 births per year, and a significant proportion involve increased medical complexity.

What awaits you

Our unit manages more than 1000 births per year, and a significant proportion involve increased medical complexity. Conditions such as hypertension, gestational diabetes, thyroid disorders, fetal growth restriction, placental abnormalities, multiple gestation, and pregnancies after assisted reproduction are followed under clearly defined surveillance protocols. Monitoring intervals are structured and not arbitrary. Ultrasound assessment, Doppler studies, laboratory evaluation, and maternal clinical review are scheduled systematically.

Deviation from expected fetal growth or placental performance is identified early, allowing timely intervention. Delivery planning is individualized based on measurable findings rather than routine timing.

Our outcomes demonstrate lower rates of prematurity compared to general averages, a higher-than-average rate of normal vaginal births, and a lower-than-average cesarean section rate. These results are achieved through disciplined monitoring, early recognition of risk, and careful labor management.

We are certified to perform amnio-reduction when clinically indicated. Stability, vigilance, and precise timing define our high-risk pregnancy management.
